I just recently found out about the code change from 3D to 1D. I’ve been interested in retraining into one of these jobs. My FTA window open in August and I’ve checked the retrain advisory list and all of the shreds are OBJ/IN. For now, each 3D field will have a corresponding 1D7 shred and conversions will likely happen this winter. Down the road, the shreds will be condensed into fewer.
